Our 2015 Celebrate Sustainability Was a Huge Success

On September 26, we were greeted with a beautiful early fall day to hold our 5th Annual Gala Event.  We hosted several hundred people who came to see all the fun things we are doing here at The Ranch.  We had tours of Raisin Roots Farm (our Market Farm), Sara’s Pick of the Coop (our Chicken Farm), Mountain Sky Quarry, our pond system, and last but not least our wonderful Mountain Sky Alpaca herd.  We also had the Grand Opening for our new Farm Store in our “Pit” area.  Throughout the day we had hay rides, lectures, much fishing, hiking, horseshoes, volleyball, lounging, and fellowship.

The day was capped off with our first Farm To Table VIP Dinner.  We were fortunate to be be served by our wonderful staff and caterer.  There were about 35 of us that dined on salmon, alpaca, greens and veggies from Raisin Roots, and a number of wonderful desserts and appetizers.  There was craft beer donated by a local brewery and local wines.  The evening was capped by smores by our huge bonfire and a evening message by our special guest, world famous Restoration Agriculture Authority – Mark Shepard.

It was truly a magical day and evening!

Look Forward to our 6th Celebrate Sustainability in the Early Fall 2016!!

We will be having a gala weekend event in the early fall, 2016 at Mountain Sky Ranch.  As always there will be music, food, education, fun, alpacas and much more.
